Abstract

Latar Belakang : World Health Organization (WHO) telah menyatakan Covid-19 sebagai pandemic global dan masing-masing negara mulai melakukan berbagai upaya dalam mencegah penyebaran infeksi virus ini hingga saat ini. Covid-19 menyerang hampir setiap usia, termasuk remaja. Protokol kesehatan telah ditetapkan di seluruh dunia termasuk di Indonesia, tetapi gambaran perilaku pencegahan sesuai protokol kesehatan belum diketahui dengan pasti, khususnya pada remaja.

Tujuan : Penelitian untuk mengetahui Gambaran Perilaku Pencegahan Covid – 19 Pada Remaja di kota Palangka Raya.

Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Jumlah populasi 107 responden, pengambilan sampel menggunakan tehnik simple random sampling yaitu pengambilan anggota sampel dari populasi yang dilakukan secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata yang ada dalam populasi itu, jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden menggunakan kuesioner online yang disajikan dalam bentuk google form, data dianalisis secara univariat dengan menyajikan distribusi frekuensi variabel.

Hasil : Penelitian yang telah dilakukan pada 100 responden diperoleh hasil 62 responden dengan perilaku pencegahan baik (62,0%), selalu memakai masker 87 responden (87,0%), selalu mencuci tangan 56 responden (56,0%), selalu menjaga jarak 46 responden (46,0%), selalu menghindari kerumunan 41 responden (41,0%).

Kesimpulan : Didapatkan hasil bahwa responden memiliki perilaku pencegahan baik (62,0%). Mayoritas responden berjenis kelamin perempuan (61,0%), usia dalam rentang 15-17 Tahun kategori remaja tengah (49,0%), pendidikan menengah (51,0%), sumber informasi menggunakan media elektronik/internet berbasis media sosial (94,0%).

Background : The World Health Organization ( WHO ) has declared Covid-19 as a global pandemic and each country has begun to make various efforts to prevent the spread of this virus infection until now. Covid-19 strikes almost every age, including teenagers. Health protocols have been established worldwide, including in Indonesia, but the description of preventive behavior according to health protocols is not known with certainty, especially in adolescents.

Objective : Research to know the description of Behavior Prevention Covid - 19 Teen in the city of Palangka Raya .

Methods : This study uses a quantitative with a descriptive approach . Total population of 107 respondents, sampling using simple random sampling technique, namely taking sample members from the population carried out randomly without regard to the existing strata in the population , total sample of 100 respondents using online questionnaires presented in the form of google form , data analyzed by means of univariate by presenting a variable frequency distribution.

Results : Research that has been conducted on 100 respondents obtained the results of 62 respondents with good preventive behavior (62.0%), always wearing masks 87 respondents (87.0%), always washing hands 56 respondents (56.0%), always keeping distance 46 respondents (46.0%), always avoiding crowds 41 respondents (41.0%).

Conclusion : The results showed that the respondents had good preventive behavior (62.0%). The majority of respondents are female (61.0%), age in the range of 15-17 years in the middle teenager category (49.0%), secondary education (51.0%), sources of information using electronic media/internet based on social media (94.0%).
