Abstract

Angka kematian bayi yang masih tinggi, sebanyak 7000 Bayi Baru Lahir di dunia meninggal setiap harinya. Menurut WHO Penyebab kematian erat kaitannya dengan status nutrisi yaitu salah satunya ASI Eksklusif. Di Indonesia cakupan ASI Eksklusif masih sangat rendah. Di Barito Selatan sendiri pada tahun 2018 cakupan ASI Eksklusif hanya 28,64%, sedangkan untuk UPTD Puskesmas Buntok pada tahun yang sama cakupan ASI Eksklusif hanya 11 % dari target nasional 80%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan Pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI Eksklusif Terhadap Pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Dengan sampel penelitian 97 orang ibu yang mempunyai bayi usia 6-12 bulan di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Buntok. Yang dilakukan pada bulan bulan Januari s/d Maret 2020. Adapun cara pengumpulan data dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Uji yang digunakan adalah uji Chi square. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Pengetahuan Ibu dengan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif, dengan menggunakan chi�square diperoleh nilai p = 0,012 (p ≤ 0,05). Kesimpulannya yaitu Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Pengetahuan Ibu dengan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif.

Infant mortality rates is still high, as many as 7.000 newborn babies in the world die every day. According to WHO the cause of death relates to the babies’ nutrition that one of them is exclusive breastfeeding. In Indonesia the exclusive breastfeeding scope is still low. In South Barito the scope of exclusive breastfeeding is only 28,64% in 2018 on the other hand the scope of it in UPTD Puskesmas Buntok in the same year is only 11% from the national target is 80%. Purpose of the research to know the correlation mother’s knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding to the giving exclusive breastfeeding. Methodology of the research is the research uses quantitative research with analytical research design and cross sectional approach. Technique of sample taking uses consecutive sampling technique. The research samples are 97 mothers who have babies about 6-12 month in working area UPTD Puskesmas Buntok. It will be done on January to March 2020. The data collecting technique uses interview by questioners. The Test which is used is Chi Square Test. Result of the research is there is significant correlation between mother’s knowledge to the giving exclusive breastfeeding by using Chi Square test got the value of p = 0,012 (p ≤ 0,05). Conclusion is There is significant correlation between mother’s knowledge to the giving exclusive breastfeeding.
