Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masalah status gizi pada bayi merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang serius. Pada tahun 2016 di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah ditemukan status gizi balita yang mengalami BGM (di Bawah Garis Merah) adalah 2,97% lebih tinggi dibandingkan tahun 2015 sebesar 1,46%. Di Puskesmas Bukit Hindu tahun 2017 ditemukan status gizi balita BGM (di Bawah Garis Merah) terdapat 150 balita dari 44.83 balita 0,70%. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan riwayat pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan status gizi bayi. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 72 bayi usia 7-12 bulan. Variabel independen pada penelitian ini adalah riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif. Variabel dependen yang diukur adalah status gizi bayi menggunakan timbangan dan pengukur tinggi badan. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif dengan status gizi berdasarkan indeks BB/PB pada bayi usia 7-12 bulan (p value=0,006; OR = 13,93 95% CI). Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif dengan status gizi bayi.

Background: The problem of nutritional status in infants is a serious public health problem. In 2016 in Central Kalimantan Province, the nutritional status of children under five who experienced BGM (Below the Red Line) was 2.97% higher than in 2015 of 1.46%. In the Hindu Bukit Health Center in 2017 found the nutritional status of BGM children (Under the Red Line) there were 150 toddlers from 44.83 toddlers 0.70%. Objective: To find out whether there is a relationship between the history of exclusive breastfeeding and the nutritional status of the baby. Method: The method used is descriptive method withapproach cross sectional. The study sample amounted to 72 infants aged 7-12 months. The independent variable in this study was exclusive breastfeeding history. The dependent variable measured is the nutritional status of the baby using the scales and height measurements. Statistical analysis using thetest chi-square. Results: Based on the results of thetest chi-square showed that there was a significant correlation between the history of exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status based on the BB / PB index in infants aged 7-12 months (p value= 0.006; OR = 13.93 95% CI). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the history of exclusive breastfeeding and infant nutritional status.
