Abstract

Latar Belakang : WHO melaporkan bahwa prevalensi wanita hamil yang yang mengalami defisiensi zat besi sekitar 35-75 % dan semakin meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya usia kehamilan. . Pada saat hamil, tubuh akan mengalami perubahan yang signifikan, jumlah darah dalam tubuh meningkat sekitar 20 - 30 %, sehingga memerlukan peningkatan kebutuhan pasokan besi dan vitamin untuk membuat hemoglobin (Hb).

Tujuan : Diketahuinya pengaruh konsumsi buah kurma terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil trimester II di Puskesmas Bukit Rawi.

Metode : Desain penelitian ini Pre eksperimental, dengan menggunakan One Group Pre-test and Post – Test Design. Populasinya penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil Trimester II yang hadir ke kelas ibu hamil atau melakukan Asuhan antenatal di Puskesmas Bukit Rawi yang berjumlah 56 orang. Uji sttisktik yang digunakan adalah Uji Paired T_Test .

Hasil : Diperoleh Pemberian buah kurma dapat meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil TM II dengan anemia yang diberikan perlakuan rata-rata mengalami kenaikan kadar Hb 2,3 gr/dl. Bermakna secara ststistik dengan uji Paired T Test bahwa nilai p-value tersebut lebih kecil dari α (0,05) yaitu sebesar 0,000

Kesimpulan : Ada pengaruh pemberian buah kurma terhadap peningkatan kadar Hb pada ibu hamil Trimester II.

Background : WHO reports that the prevalence of iron deficiency in pregnant women is around 35-75% and increases with increasing gestational age. .During pregnancy, the body will experience significant changes, the amount of blood in the body increases by about 20-30%, so it requires an increase in the need for iron and vitamins to make hemoglobin (Hb). Objective: To determine the effect of consumption of dates on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women in the second trimester at Bukit Rawi Health Center.

Methods : This research design is pre-experimental, using One Group Pre-test and Post-Test Design. The population of this study was the second trimester pregnant women who attended the class for pregnant women or did antenatal care at the Bukit Rawi Health Center, which amounted to 56 people. The statistical test used is the Paired T_Test.

Results : It was found that giving dates can increase hemoglobin levels in TM II pregnant women with anemia who are treated with an average increase in Hb levels of 2.3 g/dl. It is statistically meaningful with the Paired T Test that the p-value is smaller than (0.05) which is 0.000

Conclusion : There is an effect of giving dates to the increase in Hb levels in pregnant women in the second trimester.
