Abstract

Latar Belakang : Cakupan pelayanan KB pasca persalinan di Kabupaten Barito Selatan masih sangat rendah, Tahun 2021 tercatat ada 2080 ibu nifas , dan yang menggunakan IUD hanya (1,2%),rendahnya pemahaman tentang kontrasepsi IUD membuat minat penggunaan alat Kontrasepsi IUD pasca persalinan sangat kurang.

Tujuan : Mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan kontrasepsi IUD terhadap minat penggunaan alat kontrasepsi IUD pasca persalinan pada Ibu Hamil Trimester II dan III di wilayah kerjsPuskesmas Mengkatip, Kecamatan Dusun Hilir..

Metode : Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik melalui pendekatan cross sectional.Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mengkatip Kecamatan Dusun Hilir Tahun 2022 dan dilakukan pada bulan April Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling yaitu ibu hamil Trimester II dan III yang bersediamenjadiresponden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi, jumlah responden berjumlah 117orang. Analisa data menggunakan Uji Chi Square dan Pearson Chi Square.

Hasil : Hasil analisis uji chi-square diperoleh nilai p=0.00 maka dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara hubungan tingkat pengetahuan kontrasepsi IUD terhadap minat penggunaan alat kontrasepsi IUD pasca persalinan pada ibu hamil trimester II dan III. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh pula nilai OR=10.267 artinya responden dengan pengetahuan baik mempunyai peluang 10.267 kali untuk mempunyai minat yang tinggi menggunakan alat kontrasepsi IUD pasca persalinan dibanding responden dengan pengetahuan kurang.

Kesimpulan : Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara hubungan tingkat pengetahuan (p=0.00), pendidikan (p=0.02) dan paritas (p=0.03) terhadap minat penggunaan alat kontrasepsi IUD pasca persalinan pada ibu hamil trimester II dan III.

Saran : Bagi tenaga kesehatan agar dapat lebih meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitasnya dalam memberikan penyuluhan atau pendidikan kesehatan khususnya mengenai kontrasepsi jangka panjang.

Background : The coverage of postpartum birth control services in South Barito Regency is still very low, in 2021 there were 2080 postpartum mothers, and those who used the IUD only (1.2%), the low understanding of IUD contraception made the interest in using postpartum IUD contraceptives very lacking.

Objective : To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of IUD contraceptives and the interest in the use of postpartum IUD contraceptives in Pregnant Women in trimester II and III pregnant women in the Mengkatip Health Center, Dusun Hilir District.

Method : The type of research used in this study is descriptive analytic through a cross-sectional approach. The location of the study was conducted in the working area of the Mengkatip Health Center, Dusun Hilir District in 2022 and was carried out in April 2022.This study used the Purposive Sampling technique, namely pregnant women in trimester II and III who were willing to become respondents who met the inclusion criteria, the number of respondents was 117 people. Data analysis using Chi Square and Pearson Chi Square Tests.

Results : The results of the chi-square test analysis obtained a value of p = 0.00, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the relationship between the level of knowledge of IUD contraceptives to the interest in the use of postpartum IUD contraceptives in pregnant women in the II and III trimester.From the results of the analysis, the or = 10,267 value was obtained, meaning that respondents with good knowledge had a 10,267 times chance of using postpartum IUD contraceptives compared to respondents with insufficient knowledge.

Conclusion : There was a significant relationship between the relationship of knowledge level (p=0.00), education (p=0.02) and parity (p=0.03) to the interest in the use of postpartum IUD contraceptives in pregnant women of the II and III trimesters.

Suggestion : For health workers to be able to further improve their quality and quantity in providing health counseling or education, especially regarding long-term contraceptives.
