Abstract

Background : Delivery assisted by health workers at health facilities in Indonesia is 86%. In Central Kalimantan Province, in 2019 deliveries assisted by health workers at health facilities were 66.9%, far below the 2019 Strategic Plan target which was 87%. In East Barito Regency there are quite a lot of differences in numbers, for deliveries assisted by the health care provider as many as 1,792 (68.2%) mothers gave birth and deliveries at Health Facilities as many as 1,461 (55.6%) mothers gave birth, so there is a difference in rates of 2.6% deliveries assisted not in health facilities. Objective : To analyze the Socio-Cultural Relationship and Family Income with the Selection of Delivery Places in the UPTD Work Area of Ampah Health Center, Barito Timur Regency. Research Methodology : The study used a cross sectional design, the sample of the study was mothers who gave birth in the working area of the UPTD Puskesmas Ampah, East Barito Regency, in January 2021-December 2021 who met the inclusion criteria as many as 197 people. Results : The characteristics of the majority of respondents aged not at risk (88.3%), multiparity (64.1%), having a house far from the place of delivery (50.3%), delivery assisted by non-health workers (58.4%) , choice of place of delivery without health facilities (83.2%), low family income (75.6%) and socio-cultural support (58.9%). The results of the chi-square test analysis concluded that there was a significant relationship between family income and the choice of place of delivery (p-value 0.000) and there was a significant relationship between socio-culture and the choice of place of delivery (p-value 0.035). Suggestion : It is hoped that the community, especially pregnant women who are about to give birth, can choose a place of delivery at a health facility and have health insurance so that health costs including childbirth can be reduced. Conclusion : There is a socio-cultural relationship and family income with the choice of place of delivery in the UPTD Work Area of the Ampah Health Center, East Barito Regency. Latar Belakang : Persalinan ditolong oleh Nakes di Fasyankes di Indonesia sebesar 86%. Di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah, tahun 2019 persalinan ditolong Nakes di Fasyankes sebesar 66,9% jauh dibawah target Renstra 2019 yang sebesar 87%. di Kabupaten Barito Timur terdapat selisih angka cukup banyak, untuk persalinan di tolong Nakes sebanyak 1.792 (68,2%) ibu bersalin dan persalinan di Fasyankes sebanyak 1.461 (55,6%) ibu bersalin, sehingga ada selisih angka 2,6% persalinan ditolong tidak di fasilitas Kesehatan. Tujuan : Untuk menganalisis Hubungan Sosial Budaya Dan Pendapatan Keluarga Dengan Pemilihan Tempat Persalinan Di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Ampah Kabupaten Barito Timur. Metodologi Penelitian : Penelitian menggunakan rancangan cross sectional, sampel penelitian ibu bersalin di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Ampah Kabupaten Barito Timur, pada bulan Januari 2021-Desember 2021 yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi sebanyak 197 orang. Hasil : Karakteristik mayoritas responden umur tidak berisiko (88,3%), multiparitas (64,1%), mempunyai jarak rumah yang jauh dari tempat persalinan (50,3%), persalinannya ditolong oleh tenaga non Kesehatan (58,4%), pemilihan tempat persalinan non fasilitas kesehatan (83,2%), pendapatan keluarga kurang (75,6%) dan mendukung sosial budaya (58,9%). Hasil analisis uji chi-square disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan signifikan antara pendapatan keluarga dengan pemilihan tempat persalinan (p-value 0,000) dan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sosial budaya dengan pemilihan tempat persalinan (p-value 0,035). Saran : Diharapkan kepada masyarakat khususnya ibu hamil yanga akan bersalin untuk dapat memilih tempat persalinan di fasilitas Kesehatan dan memiliki jaminan kesehatan agar biaya kesehatan termasuk persalinan dapat di ringankan. Kesimpulan : Ada hubungan sosial budaya dan pendapatan keluarga dengan pemilihan tempat persalinan di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Ampah Kabupaten Barito Timur.
