Abstract

Latar Belakang : Keluarga Berencana adalah usaha mengatur jumlah dan jarak anak yang diinginkan. Berdasarkan proporsi waktu pelayanan KB pasca persalinan di Indonesia 67,5 % ibu nifas baru menggunakan alat kontrasepsi diatas 42 hari setelah persalinan, 20% setelah pulang dari fasilitas kesehatan sampai dengan 42 hari setelah persalinan, 7,3% bersamaan dengan proses persalinan dan sebanyak 5,2% setelah persalinan selesai tetapi belum pulang dari fasilitas kesehatan

Metodologi Penelitian : Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan pre eksperimen. Sampel penelitian ibu hamil trimester III (usia kehamilan 28-42 minggu) di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kalampangan dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi, sebanyak 33 orang

Hasil : Jumlah responden 33 orang, Karakteristik responden mayoritas tingkat pengetahuan kurang (57,5%), sikap baik (54,5%), umur 20-35 tahun (78,8%), berpendidikan menengah (42,4%) dan tinggi (42,4%), tidak bekerja (72,7%), paritas multigravida (66,7%) dan melahirkan di fasilitas Kesehatan (78,8%). Rerata tingkat pengetahuan sebelum konseling adalah 56,3 dan sesudah konseling adalah 79,7. Hasil analisis disimpulkan ada pengaruh konseling KB terhadap tingkat pengetahuan ibu (p-value 0,000), tidak ada pengaruh konseling KB dengan sikap ibu (p-value 0,354) dan ada pengaruh konseling KB dengan keikutsertaan KB pasca persalinan (p-value 0.004). Perlu adanya kesiapan petugas Kesehatan khususnya bidan dalam pemberian konseling KB pada ibu hamil dan adanya peningkatan kemampuan/ kompetensi petugas dalam melakukan konseling

Background : Family planning is an effort to regulate the number and distance of children desired. Based on the proportion of postnatal family planning services in Indonesia, 67,5% of new postpartum mothers use contraception more than 42 days after delivery, 20% after returning from a health facility up to 42 days after delivery, 7,3% concurrently with the delivery process and as many as 5,2% after delivery is completed but have not returned from the health facility

Research Methodology : This study used a pre experimental design. The sample of the study was pregnant women in the third trimester (gestational age of 28-42 weeks) in the Work Area of the Kalampangan Health Center and met the inclusion criteria, as many as 33 people.

Results : The number of respondents is 33 people, the characteristics of the majority of respondents have a low level of knowledge (57,5%), good attitude (54,5%), age 20-35 years (78,8%), secondary education (42,4%) and high (42,4%), not working (72,7%), multigravida parity (66,7%) and giving birth in health facilities (78,8%). The average level of knowledge before counseling was 56,3 and after counseling was 79,7. The results of the analysis concluded that there was an effect of family planning counseling on the mother's level of knowledge (p-value 0.000), there was no effect of family planning counseling with mother's attitude (p-value 0.354) and there was an effect of family planning counseling with postpartum family planning participation (p-value 0.004). There is a need for the readiness of health workers, especially midwives, in providing family planning counseling to pregnant women and an increase in the ability/competence of officers in conducting counseling
