Abstract

Jenis kontrasepsi hormonal yang sering digunakan adalah KB suntik terutama KB suntik 1 bulan. Pemberian kontrasepsi suntikan sering menimbulkan keluhan gangguan haid (amenorea, menoragia, metroragia, dan spoting) daripada yang lain.

Untuk itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya gambaran efek samping akseptor KB suntik 1 bulan di Praktik Mandiri Bidan “M” Kota Palangka Raya tahun 2022.

Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif, jumlah populasi sebanyak 138 responden KB suntik 1 bulan dan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 58 responden KB suntik 1 bulan dengan teknik sampling accidental sampling. Variabelnya adalah efek samping akseptor KB suntik 1 bulan, umur, pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan paritas. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, data yang didapat kemudian dilakukan editing, coding, scoring, dan tabulating.

Hasil penelitian kejadian efek pada akseptor KB suntik 1 bulan sebanyak 32 orang (55,2%). Berdasarkan umur ibu yang mengalami efek samping KB suntik 1 bulan mayoritas berumus 20-35 tahun sebanyak 25 orang (43,1%). Berdasarkan pendidikan ibu yang mengalami efek samping KB suntik 1 bulan mayoritas berpendidikan rendah sebanyak 23 orang (39,7%). Berdasarkan pekerjaan ibu yang mengalami efek samping KB suntik 1 bulan mayoritas tidak bekerja sebanyak 28 orang (48,3%). Berdasarkan paritas ibu yang mengalami efek samping KB suntik 1 bulan mayoritas memiliki paritas multipara sebanyak 15 orang (25,9%).

Pembahasan kejadian efek samping yang bisa terjadi pada akseptor karena adanya pengaruh dari hormon progesteron yang dikombinasi dengan hormon estrogen yang masuk dalam tubuh akseptor. Efek samping bisa terjadi memang hal yang wajar, sebaiknya akseptor tidak terlalu khawatir dengan hal itu. Jika memang sangat mengganggu sebaiknya dikonsultasikan dengan bidan.

Efforts made by the government to suppress the rate of population growth and the high birth rate that cannot be controlled are implementing a family planning program which currently leads to the use of an effective long-term contraceptive method, namely the Intra Uterine Device (IUD).

This study aims to determine whether the determinants that affect the low interest of mothers in the selection of IUD contraceptives at UPT Pahandut Health Center, Palangka Raya City.

This study uses a descriptive research design, the total population is 138 respondents KB injection 1 month and the number of samples in this study were 58 respondents KB injection 1 month with sampling technique accidental sampling. The variables are side effects of 1 month injection KB acceptor, age, education, occupation, and parity. The instrument used was a questionnaire, the data obtained were then edited, coding, scoring, and tabulating.

The results of the study on the incidence of effects on 1 month injection KB acceptors were 32 people (55.2%). Based on the age of the mothers who experienced side effects of the 1-month injection KB, the majority were aged 20-35 years as many as 25 people (43.1%). Based on the education of mothers who experienced side effects of 1 month injection of contraception, the majority of them had low education as many as 23 people (39.7%). Based on the work of mothers who experienced side effects of 1 month injection KB the majority did not work as many as 28 people (48.3%). Based on the parity of mothers who experienced side effects of 1 month injection KB the majority had multiparous parity as many as 15 people (25.9%).

Discussion of the incidence of side effects that can occur in the acceptor due to the influence of the hormone progesterone combined with the hormone estrogen that enters the body of the acceptor. Side effects can occur is a natural thing, the acceptor should not be too worried about it. If it really bothers you, you should consult a midwife.
