Abstract

Latar Belakang : Menyusui merupakan proses alamiah, namun sering ibu-ibu tidak berhasil atau menghentikan menyusui dini. Banyak alasan yang di kemukakan ibu-ibu antara lain,ibu merasa air susunya tidak cukup dan tidak keluar pada hari pertama kelahiran bayi, hal ini disebabkan karena kurang percaya diri bahwa ASI nya cukup untuk bayi dan kurang informasi tentang cara menyusui baik dan benar.

Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan ekstrak katuk terhadap kelancaran ASI pada ibu nifas primigravida pada hari pertama sampai hari ke enam di PMB Wilayah Jekan Raya.

Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen design, dengan rancangan pretest-posttes control design. Teknik sampling yang diunakan yaitu teknik Non probability sampling, dengan menggunakan pengambilan sampel yaitu sampling jenuh. Sampel penelitian ini adalah ibu nifas primigravida hari 1-6 hari.

Hasil : Hasil analisis Uji Chi-squarepengaruh ekstrak katuk terhadap kelancaran asi didapatkan p-value = 0,020.

Kesimpulan : Ada pengaruh ekstrak katuk terhadap kelancaran ASI.

Background : Breastfeeding is a natural process, but often mothers do not succeed or stop breastfeeding early. Many reasons put forward by mothers, among others, mothers feel that their milk is not enough and does not come out on the first day of the baby's birth, this is due to lack of confidence that the milk is sufficient for the baby and lack of information about how to breastfeed properly and correctly.

Objective : To find out whether there is a relationship between katuk extract on the smoothness of breast milk in primigravida postpartum mothers on the first day to the sixth day at PMB Jekan Raya.

Methods : This type of research is a quasi-experimental design, with a pretest-posttest control design. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling technique, by using sampling that is saturated sampling. The sample of this study was primigravida postpartum mothers on days 1-6 days.

Results : The results of the Chi-square test analysis of the effect of katuk extract on smooth breast milk obtained p-value = 0.020.

Conclusion : There is an effect of katuk extract on the smoothness of breast milk.
