Abstract

Pendidikan kesehatan merupakan suatu bentuk tindakan mandiri kebidanan untuk membantu klien baik individu, kelompok, maupun masyarakat dalam mengatasi masalah kesehatannya melalui kegiatan pembelajaran yang didalamnya bidan sebagai pendidik. Setiap ibu hamil akan menghadapi resiko komplikasi kehamilan yang bisa mengancam jiwanya. Di Indonesia angka kematian ibu (AKI) masih cukup tinggi yakni 305 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup. Salah satu upaya dengan memberikan informasi tentang kehamilan risiko tinggi dilakukan melalui pendidikan kesehatan yang dirancang dengan tepat sehingga klien mudah memahami dan mengingat informasi.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang komplikasi kehamilan dengan media video terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil trimester I.
Jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment with two group (control and intervensi) dengan menggunakan pre test – post test design untuk melihat perbandingan sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan pada kedua kelompok.
Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji t paired menunjukkan Nilai probabilitas/p value uji T Paired: Hasil = 0,001. Artinya: Ada perbedaan antara pemberian leaflet dan pemberian video. Sebab: Nilai p value > 0,05 (95 % kepercayaan).
Kesimpulan pada saat post-test terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan setelah diberikan intervensi pada kelompok perlakuan dengan nilai p-value 0,001 berarti ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan komplikasi kehamilan dengan media video terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil trimester I di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sikui Muara Teweh.

Health education is a form of midwifery independent action to help clients, both individuals, groups and communities, in overcoming their health problems through learning activities in which the midwife acts as an educator. Every pregnant woman will face the risk of pregnancy complications that can be life-threatening. In Indonesia the maternal mortality rate (MMR) is still quite high at 305 per 100,000 live births. One of the efforts to provide information about high-risk pregnancies is through well-designed health education so that clients can easily understand and remember information.
The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of health education about complications of pregnancy with video media has on the knowledge of pregnant women in the first trimester.
The type of research that will be used in this study is a quasi-experimental with two groups (control and intervention) using a pre-test – post-test design to see comparisons before and after being given treatment in both groups.
The results of the study using the paired t test show the probability value/p value of the Paired T test: Result = 0.001. Meaning: There is a difference between giving leaflets and giving videos. Reason: The p value > 0.05 (95% confidence).
The conclusion at the time of the post-test was that there was an increase in knowledge after being given an intervention in the treatment group with a p-value of 0.001, meaning that there was an effect of pregnancy complications health education with video media on the knowledge of first trimester pregnant women in the Sikui Muara Teweh Health Center Work Area.
