Abstract

Latar Belakang : ASI Eksklusif adalah pemberian air susu ibu saja kepada bayi sejak dilahirkan sampai usia 6 bulan tanpa memberikan tambahan makanan atau minuman lain. Berdasarkan laporan Profil Kesehatan Kota Palangka Raya Tahun 2022 yang menunjukkan Puskesmas Bukit Hindu merupakan wilayah dengan angka cakupan ASI Eksklusif terendah. Persentase ASI Eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bukit Hindu hanya sebesar 30,41%. Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk mengetahui gambaran pemberian ASI Eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bukit Hindu Kota Palangka Raya. Metode Penelitian : Peneltian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Sampel penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki bayi berusia 7-12 bulan yang berada di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bukit Hindu Kota Palangka Raya sejumlah 106 orang. Hasil Penelitian : Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 106 responden ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 7-12 bulan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bukit Hindu Kota Palangka Raya yang memberikan ASI Eksklusif kepada bayinya sebanyak 45 orang (42,5%) dan ibu yang tidak memberikan ASI Ekskllusif sebanyak 61 orang (57,5%). Ibu yang memberikan ASI Eksklusif pada bayinya memiliki rentang usia 20-35 tahun sebanyak 37 orang (34,9%), pendidikan menengah sebanyak 25 orang (23,5%), tidak bekerja sebanyak 33 orang (31,2%), paritas multipara sebanyak 30 orang (28,3%), pengetahuan baik yaitu sebanyak 45 orang (42,5%), jenis persalinan normal sebanyak 35 orang (33%), dan yang memiliki riwayat Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) sebanyak sebanyak 41 orang (38,6%). Kesimpulan: Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ibu yang memberikan ASI Eksklusif kepada bayinya di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bukit Hindu Kota Palangka Raya mayoritas pada kelompok ibu usia 20-35 tahun, pendidikan menengah, tidak bekerja, paritas multipara, pengetahuan baik, jenis persalinan normal dan memiliki riwayat Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD). xiii + 81 halaman; 2024; 11 tabel; 6 gambar Daftar Pustaka 64 referensi (2018-2023) Kata Kunci : ASI Eksklusif

ABSTRACT Background : Exclusive breastfeeding is giving only breast milk to babies from birth until 6 months of age without providing additional food or other drinks. Based on the 2022 Palangka Raya City Health Profile report, it shows that the region of Bukit Hindu Community Health Center is the area with the lowest exclusive breastfeeding coverage rate. The percentage of exclusive breastfeeding at the region of Bukit Hindu Community Health Center is only 30.41%. Objective : To find out the description of exclusive breastfeeding at the region of Bukit Hindu Community Health Center region, Palangka Raya City. Methods : This research uses a quantitative type with a descriptive research methods. The type of data used is primary data. The sample for this research was 106 mothers who had babies aged 7-12 months at the region of Bukit Hindu Health Center, Palangka Raya City. Results : This research shows that of the 106 respondents, mothers who had babies aged 7-12 months at the region of Bukit Hindu Community Health Center, Palangka Raya City, 45 people (42.5%) give exclusive breast milk to their babies and 61 mothers who didn’t give exclusive breast milk (57.5%). Mothers who gave exclusive breast milk to their babies had an age range of 20-35 years as many as 37 people (34.9%), senior high school as many as 25 people (23.5%), not working as many as 33 people (31.2%), multipara parity as many as 30 people (28,3%), the mother with a good knowledge as many as 45 people (42,5%), the type of normal delivery was 35 people (33%), and 41 people (38.6%) had a history of Early Breastfeeding Initiation. Conclusion : From the research results, it can be concluded that the majority of mothers who provide exclusive breast milk to their babies at the region of Bukit Hindu Community Health Center, Palangka Raya City are in the group of mothers aged 20-35 years, senior high school, not working, multipara parity, the mother with a good knowledge, the type of normal delivery, and had a history of Early Breastfeeding Initiation. xiii + 81 pages: 2024; 11 tables; 6 pictures Bibliography 64 references (2018-2023) Keyword : Exclusive breastfeeding
