Abstract
Latar Belakang: Imunisasi merupakan salah satu upaya kesehatan masyarakat yang paling efektif dan efisien dalam mencegah berbagai penyakit dengan Imunisasi (PD3I). Pemberian imunisasi telah terbukti mampu menurunkan angka kesakitan, kecacatan, bahkan kematian akibat penyakit seperti cacar, polio, difteri, pertusis, tetanus, hepatitis B, campak, dan rubella pada masa tumbuh kembang anak. Tujuan Penelitiaan: Menganalisis hubungan motivasi orangtua dengan kelengkapan status imunisasi dasar pada batita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Arut Utara. Metode Penelitian: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif rancangan penelitian Korelasional dengan pendekatan Cross-sectional. Cara pengambilan sampel dengan metode Purposive Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 61 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil Penelitian: Berdasarkan penelitian di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Arut Utara, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas Orangtua memiliki motivasi yang tinggi dalam pemberian imunisasi (52,5%) dan hampir seluruh batita (98,40%) telah memiliki status imunisasi dasar lengkap. Kesimpulan: Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi orangtua dengan kelengkapan status imunisasi di Puskesmas Arut Utara tersebut p value = 0,336 lebih besar dari nilai alpa 0,05 sehingga hipotesis Nol (H₀): diterima, dan nilai koefisiensi kontingensi sebesar 0,122, yang berarti kekuatan hubungannya termasukdalam kategori sangat rendah. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Orangtua, Imunisasi Dasar Lengkap, Batita, Puskesmas. Background: Immunization is one of the most effective and efficient public health efforts in preventing various dangerous infectious diseases. The administration of vaccines has been proven to reduce morbidity, disability, and mortality rates caused by diseases such as smallpox, polio, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, hepatitis B, measles, and rubella during a child's growth and development. Objective: To analyze the relationship between parental motivation and the completeness of basic immunization status in toddlers within the working area of the Arut Utara Public Health Center. Methods: This study utilized a quantitative correlational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was selected using the purposive sampling method, consisting of 61 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the ChiSquare test. Results: Based on the research conducted in the working area of the Arut Utara Public Health Center, it was found that the majority of parents had high motivation for providing immunization (52.5%) and nearly all toddlers (98.40%) had achieved complete basic immunization status. Conclusion: The statistical test results indicate that there is no significant relationship between parental motivation and the completeness of immunization status at the Arut Utara Public Health Center, with a p-value of 0.336, which is greater than the alpha value of 0.05. Consequently, the Null Hypothesis (H₀) is accepted. The contingency coefficient value is 0.122, which means the strength of the relationship is categorized as very low.
