Abstract
Kata Kunci: Media, Leaflet, Pengetahuan, Faktor Risiko Kehamilan Background: Maternal and Child Health Monitoring Data for the Fourth Quarter of 2025 shows that of the 138 registered pregnant women, the coverage of pregnant women who attended pregnancy classes only reached 75%, the coverage of KIA’s book ownership was 80% and the consumption of iron tablets of at least 90 tablets was 85%. This also shows that not all pregnant women have received and utilized health information optimally. It is necessary to design media that are appropriate to the needs and socio-cultural values of the community, so that messages can be more effective in changing the level of knowledge of mothers about healthy lifestyles during pregnancy. The purpose of this study is to determine the Effect of Leaflet Media on Pregnant Women's Knowledge About Pregnancy Risk Factors in Pregnancy Classes in the Working Area of the Panamas Community Health Center. Method: The research design used was pre-experimental with a one-group pre-test–post-test design. Sampling used a total sampling technique, resulting in a total of 30 samples. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire about respondent identity and respondent knowledge about risk factors in pregnancy. This study was conducted in the Working Area of the Panamas Health Center in December 2025. The results were analyzed univariately with frequency distribution and bivariately with the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. This study has passed the ethical feasibility test. Results: The average knowledge of respondents before the intervention was 71.33 and the average knowledge of respondents after the intervention was 85.73. The Wilcoxon test results obtained a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Discussion: Bivariate analysis showed that leaflets were effective in increasing the knowledge of pregnant women in the Panamas Community Health Center work area. This intervention relied not only on printed media but also combined it with direct discussions in the pregnancy class between educators and participants. This study was limited to using leaflets, not examining the relationship between characteristics and knowledge levels, having too small a sample size, and only using one group with a pre-test and post-test method.
