Abstract

Kata Kunci: Intracerebral Hemorrhage, Range of Motion, Head Up 30–45°, Kekuatan Otot, Tekanan Intrakranial Background: Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is the deadliest form of acute stroke, with a mortality rate of 30%–40%, particularly within the first 48 hours following the onset of symptoms. This condition occurs due to the rupture of a blood vessel in the brain, leading to brain tissue damage and neurological deficits. Objective: This study aims to determine the comparative effectiveness of Range of Motion (ROM) interventions in improving physical mobility and the 30–45° Head-Up position in the management of increased intracranial pressure in patients with Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH). Method: This study employed a descriptive method with a case study approach based on Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to explore the application of these two nursing interventions in patients with Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH). Results: After performing ROM exercises twice daily for three days and consistently maintaining a 30–45° Head Up position throughout care, there was a significant improvement in muscle strength and the patients’ level of consciousness. Conclusion: Range of Motion (ROM) exercises and a 30–45° head-up position have been proven effective in improving muscle strength and level of consciousness in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), with optimal results when both interventions are implemented as early as possible. Keywords: Intracerebral Hemorrhage, Range of Motion, Head Up 30–45°, Muscle Strength, Intracranial Pressure
