Abstract

Latar Belakang: Abses serebri merupakan infeksi fokal intrakranial berupa penumpukan pus di jaringan otak yang dapat memicu peningkatan tekanan intrakranial dan mengancam jiwa. Insidensi global berkisar 0,3–1,3 per 100.000 penduduk per tahun dengan angka mortalitas yang masih signifikan meskipun telah menurun seiring kemajuan diagnostik dan terapi antibiotik. Tujuan Penelitian: Memberikan gambaran pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan secara komprehensif pada pasien dengan diagnosis abses serebri di Ruang Bedah Umum RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. Metode Penelitian: Deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada satu pasien, Tn. H, usia 22 tahun, menggunakan metode pengkajian wawancara, observasi, pemeriksaan fisik, dan telaah rekam medis. Hasil Penelitian: Ditemukan tiga diagnosis keperawatan utama: nyeri akut (D.0077), gangguan mobilitas fisik (D.0054), dan risiko perfusi serebral tidak efektif (D.0017). Setelah implementasi tiga hari, skala nyeri menurun dari 5 menjadi 3 dan kekuatan otot ekstremitas bawah kanan meningkat dari nilai 3 menjadi 4 Kesimpulan: Asuhan keperawatan terstruktur berbasis SDKI, SIKI, dan SLKI menunjukkan perbaikan klinis pada pasien abses serebri, meskipun masalah keperawatan belum teratasi sepenuhnya dan memerlukan intervensi lanjutan Kata Kunci: Abses Serebri, Asuhan Keperawatan, Nyeri Akut, Gangguan Mobilitas Fisik, Perfusi Serebral Background : Cerebral abscess is a focal intracranial infection characterized by the accumulation of pus in brain tissue, which can trigger increased intracranial pressure and become life-threatening. The global incidence ranges from 0.3 to 1.3 per 100,000 population per year, with mortality rates remaining significant despite improvements in diagnostics and antibiotic therapy. Objective : To provide a comprehensive description of nursing care implementation in a patient diagnosed with cerebral abscess in the General Surgery Ward of Ulin Regional Hospital, Banjarmasin. Method: A qualitative descriptive design with a case study approach was applied to a single patient, Mr. H, aged 22 years, using interview, observation, physical examination, and medical record review. Results: Three primary nursing diagnoses were identified: acute pain (D.0077), impaired physical mobility (D.0054), and risk for ineffective cerebral perfusion (D.0017). Following three days of implementation, the pain scale decreased from 5 to 3, and right lower extremity muscle strength improved from 3 to 4. Conclusion: Structured nursing care based on SDKI, SIKI, and SLKI demonstrated clinical improvement in the patient with cerebral abscess, although nursing problems were not fully resolved and require further intervention.
