Abstract

Latar Belakang: Guillain-Barré Syndrome merupakan penyakit autoimun yang menyerang sistem saraf perifer dan menyebabkan kelemahan otot progresif. Kondisi ini dapat menimbulkan gangguan pernapasan, mobilitas fisik, dan komunikasi verbal. Tujuan: Melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien Guillain-Barré Syndrome di RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain studi kasus deskriptif pada satu pasien laki-laki berinisial Tn. T usia 56 tahun dengan Guillain-Barré Syndrome tipe AMSAN yang dirawat di Sub Unit Seruni RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. Hasil: Ditemukan empat diagnosis keperawatan utama yaitu Bersihan Jalan Napas Tidak Efektif, Gangguan Mobilitas Fisik, Gangguan Komunikasi Verbal, dan Risiko Perfusi Perifer Tidak Efektif. Intervensi yang diberikan meliputi latihan batuk efektif, posisi semi fowler, latihan Range of Motion (ROM), mobilisasi bertahap, perawatan sirkulasi dan komunikasi adaptif. Setelah tiga hari perawatan, kondisi pasien menunjukkan perkembangan bertahap berupa sekret lebih mudah keluar, ronki berkurang, pasien mulai mampu menekuk lutut dan mengangkat lengan hingga siku, tidak ditemukan tanda-tanda gangguan perfusi perifer selama masa perawatan, serta kemampuan komunikasi mulai membaik meskipun bicara pelo masih ditemukan. Saran: Perawat diharapkan dapat memberikan asuhan keperawatan secara komprehensif, berkelanjutan, dan kolaboratif pada pasien Guillain-Barré Syndrome dengan melibatkan keluarga dalam proses perawatan untuk mendukung pemulihan pasien secara optimal. Background: Guillain-Barré Syndrome is an autoimmune disease that affects the peripheral nervous system and causes progressive muscle weakness. This condition may lead to respiratory impairment, physical mobility problems, and verbal communication disorders. Objective: To implement nursing care for a patient with Guillain-Barré Syndrome at RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin Methods: This study used a descriptive case study design involving one male patient identified as Mr. T, aged 56 years, diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome type AMSAN, who was treated in the Seruni subunit of RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. Results: Four primary nursing diagnoses were identified: Ineffective Airway Clearance, Impaired Physical Mobility, Impaired Verbal Communication, and Risk for Ineffective Peripheral Tissue Perfusion. Nursing interventions included effective coughing exercises, semi-Fowler positioning, Range of Motion (ROM) exercises, gradual mobilization, circulatory care, and adaptive communication. After three days of nursing care, the patient showed gradual improvement, as evidenced by easier sputum expectoration, decreased rhonchi, the ability to flex the knees and raise the arms up to the elbow level, the absence of signs of impaired peripheral perfusion throughout the hospitalization, and improved communication ability, although dysarthric speech was still present. Suggestion: Nurses are expected to provide comprehensive, continuous, and collaborative nursing care for patients with Guillain-Barré Syndrome by involving the family in the care process to support optimal patient recovery Keywords: Nursing Care, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, AMSAN, Case Study.
