Abstract

Latar Belakang : Tumor otak merupakan massa neoplastik di dalam rongga intrakranial yang dapat memicu edema serebri luas, peningkatan tekanan intrakranial, serta kerusakan jaringan saraf mendasar. Kondisi ini menimbulkan berbagai masalah keperawatan kompleks akibat penurunan kesadaran dan disfungsi neuromuskular yang memerlukan penanganan komprehensif. Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk menggambarkan penerapan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien dengan tumor otak di Ruang Seruni RSUD. Metode Penelitian : Studi kasus ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada pasien tumor otak. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil analisis data dengan melakukan pengkajian keperawatan menunjukkan bahwa diagnosis keperawatan pada pasien berupa risiko perfusi serebral tidak efektif, bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif, dan defisit perawatan diri. Intervensi keperawatan meliputi Manajemen Peningkatan TIK, Manajemen Jalan Napas, dan Dukungan Perawatan diri. Implementasi keperawatan mencakup pengaturan posisi head-up 30° dan pemantauan status neurologis, melakukan penghisapan lendir (suction) serta pemberian oksigenasi, dan memberikan bantuan perawatan diri total (total care). Evaluasi keperawatan menunjukkan Menunjukkan bahwa masalah Risiko Perfusi Serebral tidak efektif teratasi (kejang terkontrol dan kesadaran membaik) dan bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif teratasi (sekret berkurang dan jalan napas paten). Namun, masalah defisit perawatan diri belum teratasi sepenuhnya. Kesimpulan : Penerapan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien tumor otak menunjukkan adanya perbaikan pada sebagian masalah keperawatan, terutama risiko perfusi serebral tidak efektif (kejang terkontrol) dan bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif (jalan napas paten). Namun, masalah keperawatan defisit perawatan diri belum teratasi karena kondisi kelemahan fisik menetap sehingga memerlukan intervensi lanjutan untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal. Kata Kunci : Asuhan Keperawatan, Tumor Otak Background: A brain tumor is a neoplastic mass within the intracranial cavity that can trigger extensive cerebral edema, increased intracranial pressure, and fundamental neurological damage. This condition leads to complex nursing problems due to decreased consciousness and neuromuscular dysfunction, which require comprehensive management. Research Objective: To describe the application of nursing care for a patient with a brain tumor in the Seruni Ward of RSUD Research Method: This study utilized a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach on a patient with a brain tumor. Research Results: The nursing assessment indicated three nursing diagnoses: Risk for Ineffective Cerebral Tissue Perfusion, Ineffective Airway Clearance, and Self-Care Deficit. Nursing interventions included Intracranial Pressure Management, Airway Management, and Self-Care Assistance. The implementation of nursing care consisted of maintaining the patient in a 30° head-up position, monitoring neurological status, performing suctioning, administering oxygen therapy, and providing total self-care assistance. The evaluation showed that the problem of Risk for Ineffective Cerebral Tissue Perfusion was resolved, as evidenced by controlled seizures and improved level of consciousness. The problem of Ineffective Airway Clearance was also resolved, indicated by reduced airway secretions and a patent airway. However, the Self-Care Deficit problem was not fully resolved. Conclusion: The application of nursing care for the brain tumor patient showed partial improvement in several nursing problems, particularly the risk of ineffective cerebral perfusion (controlled seizures) and ineffective airway clearance (patent airway). However, the self-care deficit was not fully resolved due to the patient's persistent physical weakness, thus requiring continued interventions to achieve optimal outcomes.
