Abstract

ASI Eksklusif memiliki peran penting dalam menurunkan morbiditas pada bayi dan balita. ASI ekslusif di Kalimantan Tengah telah mencapai target program yaitu sebesar 51,4%. Namun di Kabupaten Katingan capaian ASI eksklusif cukup rendah yaitu sebesar 19,7%. Hal tersebut masih sangat jauh di bawah target program tahun 2022. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif yaitu pengetahuan ibu, pekerjaan, paritas, dan dukungan keluarga. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang berhubungan dengan ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja Polindes Desa Samba Bakumpai Jenis penelitian analitik observasional serta desain desain Cross sectional, menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah populasi dan sampel 70 ibu bersalin. Data primer menggunakan kuesioner yang berisi 20 pertanyaan pengetahuan dan 15 pertanyaan dukungan keluarga. Analisis univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi, sedangkan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi square. Dari penelitian di Polindes Samba Bakumpai didapatkan hasil tidak ada hubungan pekerjaan dengan ASI eksklusif (p-value = 0,209), tidak ada hubungan paritas dengan ASI eksklusif (p-value = 0,917), ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan ASI eksklusif (p-value = 0,000), ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan ASI eksklusif (p-value = 0,039). Kesimpulan, faktor yang berhubungan dengan ASI eksklusif di Polindes Samba Bakumpai adalah pengetahuan dan dukungan keluarga. Diharapkan pada ibu agar aktif dalam menggali informasi terkait Kesehatan anak.

Exclusive breastfeeding has an important role in reducing morbidity in newborns and toddlers. Exclusive breastfeeding in Central Kalimantan has reached the goal of 51.4%. Yet in Katingan District, the exclusive breastfeeding rate is quite low at 19.7%. This is still very far below the program goal of 2022. Factors that impact exclusive breastfeeding are knowledge, occupation, parity, and family support. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors correlated with exclusive breastfeeding in the health care polindes of Samba Bakumpai Village. This research was an observational analytic and cross-sectional design, using total sampling with a population and sample of 70 laboring women. Primary data using a questionnaire containing 20 knowledge questions and 15 family support questions. Univariate analysis used frequency distribution, and bivariate analysis used chi square test. The research at Samba Bakumpai Polindes revealed that there was no relationship between occupation and exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.209), no relationship between parity and exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.078), there was a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.000), and there was a relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.011). In conclusion, the factors correlated with exclusive breastfeeding at Samba Bakumpai Polindes are knowledge and family support. Hopefully, mothers will be active in exploring information related to children's health.
