Abstract

Febrile seizures are common emergencies in young children and may lead to serious complications if not properly managed. This study aimed to identify nursing problems post-febrile seizure, implement parental education interventions, and evaluate their outcomes. A descriptive case study was conducted on two children with a history of febrile seizures in the working area of Pahandut Health Center, Palangka Raya. Results showed a significant improvement in one parent's understanding after the education, although the other showed less optimal change. Health education proved effective in enhancing parental readiness to prevent recurrent febrile seizures.
