Diabetes mellitus is one of the most current chronic diseases worldwide and requires sufferers to follow diabetes management for a long time. Management is done to eliminate discomforts and prevent the emergence of acute complications and chronic complications that can affect the quality of life. One of the factors that affect the quality of life of diabetic clients is adherence to the use of anti diabetic drugs. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship of adherence to the use of anti diabetic drugs with quality of life of type 2 diabetes mellitus clients. The research is quantitative research using correlation analytical research design withdesign cross sectional. The number of samples in this study were 33 respondents. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used in this research istest chi-square. The result ofstatistic test chi-square shows that there is a significant correlation between adherence of anti diabetic drug usage with quality of life of DM client with p-value = 0,006 (<0,05) and OR = 14,87 meaning responder with compliance of anti low-risk diabetes or 14.87 times more likely to experience poor quality of life. Proven with 17 (68.0%) of 33 respondents who adhere to the use of anti diabetic drugs have a good quality of life.
