Abstract

Diet DM merupakan pengaturan pola makan bagi penderita Diabetes Melitus berdasarkan jumlah, jenis dan jadwal pemberian makan. Pengaturan diet pada pasien rawat inap dengan Diabetes Melitus dilakukan untuk mencapai dan mempertahankan kadar glukosa darah normal. Ketatnya pemantuan asupan makan pasien ditujukan untuk mencegah komplikasi akibat kondisi hipoglikemia dan hiperglikemia.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian kandungan energi dan zat gizi makro diet DM 1500 kalori yang disajikan dengan standar porsi diet DM 1500 kalori RSUD Muara Teweh.

Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional pada 90 sampel makanan diet DM 1500 kalori yang disajikan Instalasi Gizi RSUD Muara Teweh yang dipilih dengan teknik non probability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling.

Rata-rata kandungan energi diet DM 1500 kalori yang disajikan siklus menu hari I adalah 1406,01 kkal, protein 35,19 g, lemak 40,7 g dan karbohidrat 215,67 g. Siklus menu hari II rata-rata menghasilkan kandungan energi 1418,59 kkal, protein 31,89 g, lemak 42,56 g dan karbohidrat 207,01 g. Siklus menu hari III rata-rata menghasilkan kandungan energi 1458,81 kkal, protein 31,73 g, lemak 45 g dan karbohidrat 218,03 g. Terdapat ketidaksesuaian antara standar porsi diet DM 1500 kalori yang disajikan dengan standar diet DM 1500 kalori Instalasi Gizi RSUD Muara Teweh.

The DM diet is a dietary arrangement for people with Diabetes Mellitus based on the amount, type and schedule of feeding. Dietary arrangements in hospitalized patients with Diabetes Mellitus are carried out to achieve and maintain normal blood glucose levels. Strict monitoring of patient's food intake is intended to prevent complications due to hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia conditions.

This study aims to determine the suitability of the energy and macronutrient content of the 1500 calorie DM diet served with the standard portion of the 1500 calorie DM diet at Muara Teweh Hospital.

This study used a cross sectional research design on 90 samples of 1500 calorie DM diet served by the Nutrition Installation of Muara Teweh Hospital which were selected using a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling type.

The average energy content of the 1500 calorie DM diet served on the first day of the menu cycle was 1406.01 kcal, 35.19 g protein, 40.7 g fat and 215.67 g carbohydrate. The average day II menu cycle produces energy content of 1418.59 kcal, protein 31.89 g, fat 42.56 g and carbohydrates 207.01 g. The average menu cycle on day III produces energy content of 1458.81 kcal, protein 31.73 g, fat 45 g and carbohydrates 218.03 g. There is a discrepancy between the standard portion of the 1500 calorie DM diet served with the 1500 calorie DM diet standard at the Nutrition Installation of Muara Teweh Hospital.
