Abstract

Latar belakang : ASI eksklusif merupakan makanan yang diberikan pada bayi sejak lahir selama 6 bulan tanpa menambahkan/mengganti dengan makanan atau minuman lainnya. Penyebab rendahnya pengetahuan sikap ibu dan dukungan suami di pengerahui oleh terbatasnya tingkat pendidikan sehingga kurangnya pengetahuan sikap ibu dan dukungan suami dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi. Ibu dan suami yang berpendidikan tinggi mudah memahami informasi dengan baik. Selain itu ibu dan suami yang berpendidikan tidak akan mudah terpengaruh dengan informasi yang tidak jelas. Tujuan : Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui “Gambaran Pengetahuan Dan Sikap Ibu Serta Dukungan Suami Dalam Pemberian ASI Eksklusif di Kelurahan Kasongan Baru Kecamatan Katingan Hilir tahun 2023”. Metode penelitian : Metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif. Hasil dan Pembahasan : Karakteristik umur ibu masuk dalam kisaran antara 23-35 tahun. Pendidikan ibu sebagian besar tamat SMA yaitu sebanyak 54,5% sementara untuk pekerjaan ibu sebagian besar bekerja yaitu sebanyak 54,5% bekerja. Tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif 100% termasuk kategori baik. Sikap ibu terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif 90,9% termasuk kategori baik. Dukungan suami terhadap ibu bayi dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif 54,5% termasuk dalam kategori kurang. Kesimpulan : Perlunya meningkatkan program sosialisasi dan pendidikan kesehatan kepada para suami untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran akan pentingnya pengetahuan, sikap dan dukungan terhadap ibu dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif. Hal ini juga dikarenakan pentingnya peran suami dalam mendukung ibu untuk memberikan ASI eksklusif. Rekomendasi lain adalah perlu dilakukan penelitian dengan desain penelitian yang berbeda dan sampel yang lebih banyak.

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding is food that is given to babies from birth for 6 months without adding/replacing it with other foods or drinks. The cause of the low knowledge of the mother's attitude and husband's support is determined by the limited level of education so that the lack of knowledge of the mother's attitude and husband's support in exclusive breastfeeding for infants. Highly educated mothers and husbands easily understand information well. In addition, educated mothers and husbands will not be easily influenced by unclear information. Objective: The general objective of this study was to find out "An overview of the knowledge and attitudes of mothers and husband's support in exclusive breastfeeding in Kasongan Baru Village, Katingan Hilir District in 2023". Research methods: The research method is descriptive. Results and discussion: Characteristics of the mother's age is in the range between 23-35 years. Most of the mother's education graduated from high school, namely as much as 54.5%, while for work, the majority of mothers worked, namely as much as 54.5% worked. The level of knowledge of mothers about exclusive breastfeeding is 100% in the good category. Mother's attitude towards exclusive breastfeeding 90.9% included in the good category. Husband's support for baby mothers in exclusive breastfeeding 54.5% is included in the less category. Conclusions: There is a need to improve health outreach and education programs for husbands to raise awareness of the importance of knowledge, attitudes and support for mothers in exclusive breastfeeding. This is also due to the important role of the husband in supporting the mother to provide exclusive breastfeeding. Another recommendation is that it is necessary to conduct research with a different research design and more samples.
