Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masa remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari masa kanak-kanak menuju dewasa antara usia 13 tahun sampai dengan 20 tahun. Menurut Riskesdas tahun 2018 prevalensi status gizi remaja umur 16-18 tahun kategori sangat kurus 1,89%, kurus 5,49%, normal 81,23%, gemuk 7,15 %, obesitas 4,25 %. Pengetahuan gizi seseorang berpengaruh pada sikap dan perilaku dalam melakukan pemilihan makanan dan berpengaruh pada keadaan gizi tiap individu. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan gizi seimbang dan status gizi remaja di MAN Kota Palangka Raya. Metode Penelitian: Desain penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian observasional. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X dan XI dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 76 sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan alat ukur kuesioner dan pengukuran antropometri. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan gizi seimbang yang baik 46,1%, pengetahuan sedang 50%, pengetahuan kurang 3,9%. Status gizi siswa dan siswi kategori gizi kurang 2,6%, gizi baik 69,7%, gizi lebih 9,2%, obesitas 18,4%. Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa paling banyak sampel yang memiliki pengetahuan gizi seimbang kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian status gizi paling banyak sampel memiliki status gizi baik.

Background: Adolescence is a period of transition from children to adults with a range of 13 years to 20 years. According to the 2014 Riskesdas, the prevalence of nutritional status of adolescents aged 16-18 years was in the category of very thin 1.89%, thin 5.49%, normal 81.23%, obese 7.15%, obese 4.25%. A person's nutritional knowledge influences attitudes and behavior in making food choices and influences the nutritional state of each individual. Objective: The aim of this study was to describe a balanced nutritional knowledge and nutritional status of adolescents at MAN in Palangka Raya City. Research Methods: This research design used quantitative desriptive with the type of observation research. The research sample was students of class X and XI using purposive sampling technique so that 76 samples were obtained. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and anthropometric measurements. Data analysis was carried out univariately. Results and Discussion: The results showed that good knowledge of balanced nutrition was 46.1%, moderate knowledge was 50%, knowledge was lacking 3.9%. The nutritional status of students in the category of undernutrition is 2.6%, good nutrition is 69.7%, excess nutrition is 9.2%, obesity is 18.4%. Conclusion: The results showed that most of the samples had moderate knowledge of balanced nutrition. The results of the research on the nutritional status of most of the samples had good nutritional status.
