Abstract

Latar belakang : Pada 30 Januari 2020, WHO mendeklarasikan wabah COVID-19 di Cina sebagai Kedaruratan Kesehatan Masyarakat yang Meresahkan Dunia (Public Health Emergency of International Concern, PHEIC) ini menandakan bahwa COVID-19 sebagai ancaman global dunia. Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 10 Tahun 2021 tentang pelaksanaan vaksinasi dalam rangka penanggulangan pandemi Corona Virus Desease 2019 (COVID-19), maka pemerintah Indonesia memberikan seruan kepada masyarakat untuk melakukan vaksinasi covid-19.

Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan masyarakat tentang vaksinasi covid19.

Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif karena gejala - gejala hasil pengamatan dikonversikan ke dalam angka-angka yang dianalisis menggunakan statistik. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu data primer.

Hasil Penelitian : Karakteristik responden yang diambil pada penelitian ini meliputi jenis kelamin yaitu laki – laki maupun perempuan, umur dengan rentang 18 – 50 tahun, tingkat pendidikan mulai dari SD hingga jenjang perguruan tinggi, serta sumber informasi yang didapat. Untuk gambaran pengetahuan secara umum, diketahui bahwa kriteria tertinggi adalah ”baik” yaitu sebanyak 66 responden (66%), kemudian 24 responden (24%) untuk kategori cukup dan 10 responden (10%) untuk kategori kurang.

Kesimpulan : Berdasarkan karakteristik responden, dapat diketahui bahwa jenis kelamin terbanyak yaitu perempuan dengan jumlah 56 (56%) dari 100 (100%) responden, kemudian untuk tingkat pendidikan terbanyak yaitu SMA dengan jumlah 65 (65%) dari 100 (100%) responden. Untuk rentang umur terbanyak yaitu umur 18 – 22 tahun dengan jumlah 47 (47%) dari 100 responden.Gambaran pengetahuan masyarakat tentang vaksinasi Covid-19 diketahui bahwa yang memiliki pengetahuan tentang vaksinasi Covid-19 terbanyak yaitu kategori “baik” sebanyak 66 (66%) dari 100 (100%) responden.

Background : On January 30, 2020, WHO declared the COVID-19 outbreak in China as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) indicating that COVID-19 is a global threat to the world. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10 of 2021 regarding the implementation of vaccinations in the context of dealing with the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the Indonesian government gives a call to the public to vaccinate against COVID-19.

Research Objectives : To find out the description of public knowledge about covid19 vaccination.

Research Methods : This study uses a quantitative approach because the observed symptoms are converted into numbers that are analyzed using statistics. The type of data used is primary data.

Research Results : Characteristics of respondents who were taken in this study included gender, namely male and female, age ranged from 18-50 years, education level from elementary school to university level, as well as sources of information obtained. For an overview of knowledge in general, it is known that the highest criterion is "good" as many as 66 respondents (66%), then 24 respondents (24%) for the sufficient category and 10 respondents (10%) for the poor category.

Conclusion : Based on the characteristics of the respondents, it can be seen that the most gender is female with a total of 56 (56%) of 100 (100%) respondents, then for the highest level of education, namely SMA with a total of 65 (65%) of 100 (100%) respondents . For the most age range, namely the age of 18 - 22 years with a total of 47 (47%) out of 100 respondents. The description of public knowledge about Covid-19 vaccination is known that those who have the most knowledge about Covid-19 vaccination are the "good" category as many as 66 (66% ) of 100 (100%) respondents.
