Abstract

Di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah tahun 2019 cakupan pemberian ASI Ekslusif (51,4%) masih jauh dari target nasional (80%). Kota Palangka Raya tahun 2019 (49,25%) terjadi penurunan tahun 2020 menjadi (45,82%). Puskesmas Pahandut tahun 2019 (7,88%). Kemudian pada tahun 2020 dari 803 bayi yang ada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pahandut hanya 89 (11,08%) bayi yang mendapatkan ASI Eksklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor determinan pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada ibu dengan bayi usia 7-12 bulan diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Pahandut kota Palangka Raya dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 63 orang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan yang tidak memberikan ASI Eksklusif 49 orang (77,8%). Nilai p-value pada faktor pendidikan 0,001, paritas 0,002, dukungan suami 0,000 dimana p<0,05. Faktor utama yang berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif adalah dukungan suami dengan odds ratio 37,642. Kesimpulannya pendidikan, paritas dan dukungan suami memiliki hubungan terhadap pemberian ASI Eksklusif dimana dukungan suami sebagai faktor utama. Sehingga diharapkan suami dilibatkan dalam setiap asuhan.

This study aims to analyze the determinants of exclusive breastfeeding for mothers with infants aged 7-12 months in the work area of Pahandut Public Health Center, Palangka Raya City with a cross-sectional approach with a total sample of 63 people. The results showed that 49 people (77.8%) did not give exclusive breastfeeding. The p-value for the education factor is 0.001, parity is 0.002, husband's support is 0.000 where p<0.05. The main factor related to exclusive breastfeeding is husband's support with an odds ratio of 37.642. In conclusion, education, parity and husband's support have a relationship with exclusive breastfeeding where husband's support is the main factor. So that the husband is expected to be involved in every care.
