Abstract

Latar Belakang : Penelitian tentang kesehatan reproduksi menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 75% perempuan di Dunia pasti akan mengalami keputihan paling tidak sekali seumur hidupnya, dan sebanyak 45% akan mengalami 2 kali atau lebih (Medika holistik, 2011). Pemberian air rebusan daun sirih merah sangat bermanfaat untuk mengurangi keputihan. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh air rebusan daun sirih merah (piper crocatum) terhadap penurunan gejala keputihan (fluor albus) pada wanita usia subur (WUS). Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode Pra-eksperiment menggunakan one group pra-post test design dengan Uji Paired t test. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai dari bulan Maret-Mei 2021. Populasi penelitian seluruh wanita usia subur dengan akseptor KB sebanyak 36 responden dengan sampel 24 responden. Teknik sampling menggunakan simple random sampling. Variabel independent yaitu air rebusan daun sirih merah dan variabel dependen yaitu keputihan fisiologis. Hasil : Hasil rata-rata sebelum diberikan air rebusan sirih merah adalah sebesar 13,7500. Setelah diberikan air rebusan sirih merah 2 kali sehari selama seminggu rata-rata keputihan yang dialami adalah sebesar 8,2500. Diperoleh bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar sebesar 0.001 < 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Kesimpulan : Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada penurunan gejala keputihan fisiologis pada wanita usia subur di PMB “A” Palangka Raya. Background : Research on reproductive health shows that around 75% of women in the world will experience vaginal discharge at least once in their lifetime, and as many as 45% will experience 2 or more times (Medika Holistik, 2011). Giving red betel leaf boiled water is very useful for reducing vaginal discharge. Objective : This study aims to determine the effect of boiled water on red betel leaf (piper crocatum) on reducing the symptoms of vaginal discharge (fluor albus) in women of childbearing age (WUS). Methods : This type of research is quantitative with Pre-experimental method using one group pre-post test design with Paired t test. This research was conducted from March to May 2021. The study population was all women of childbearing age with family planning acceptors as many as 36 respondents with a sample of 24 respondents.The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The independent variable is red betel leaf boiled water and the dependent variable is physiological vaginal discharge. Results : The average yield before being given red betel boiled water was 13.7500. After being given red betel boiled water 2 times a day for a week the average vaginal discharge experienced was 8.2500. It is obtained that the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05 then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected Conclusions : It can be concluded that there is a decrease in physiological vaginal discharge symptoms in women of childbearing age in PMB "A" Palangka Raya.
