Abstract

Latar belakang : Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) tahun 2018 menunjukkan prevalensi DM di Indonesia berdasarkan diagnosis dokter pada umur ≥ 15 tahun sebesar 2%. Angka ini menunjukkan peningkatan dibandingkan prevalensi diabetes melitus pada penduduk ≥ 15 tahun pada hasil Riskesdas 2013 sebesar 1,5%. Nefropati diabetik adalah penyebab utama penyakit ginjal stadium akhir di seluruh dunia dan berhubungan dengan peningkatan risiko penyakit kardiovaskular. Manifestasi klinis awal adalah mikroalbuminuria. Tujuan : Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran asupan cairan dan protein terhadap kadar ureum dan kreatinin pasien nefropati diabetes melitus yang menjalani rawat inap di RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April – Mei 2023 alat pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectionl data asupan cairan dan protein diperoleh dari hasil food recall 24 jam selama 3 hari. Hasil dan Pembahasan : Rata-rata asupan cairan pasien nefropati diabetik defisit tingkat berat. Terjadinya defisit berat dikarenakan pembatasan asupan cairan. Asupan protein pasien nefropati diabetik rata-rata 36,7 gr. Kadar ureum dan kreatinin pasien nefropati diabetik hari pertama dan hari ketiga masuk kategori tinggi. Kesimpulan : Menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang antara asupan cairan dan protein terhadap kadar ureum dan kreatinin.

Background: Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2018 shows the prevalence of DM in Indonesia based on a doctor's diagnosis at the age of ≥ 15 years is 2%. This figure shows an increase compared to the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in residents ≥ 15 years in the 2013 Riskesdas results of 1.5%. Diabetic nephropathy is the leading cause of end-stage kidney disease worldwide and is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. The initial clinical manifestation is microalbuminuria. Objective: The general objective of this study was to determine the profile of fluid and protein intake on urea and creatinine levels in diabetic nephropathy patients who were hospitalized at dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya. Research Methods: This research was conducted in April - May 2023. Data collection tools used a cross-sectional approach. Fluid and protein intake data were obtained from the results of a 24-hour food recall for 3 days. Results and Discussion: The average fluid intake of patients with diabetic nephropathy is a severe deficit. The occurrence of severe deficit due to restriction of fluid intake. The average protein intake of diabetic nephropathy patients is 36.7 gr. The levels of urea and creatinine in diabetic nephropathy patients on the first and third days were in the high category. Conclusion: Shows that there is a relationship between fluid and protein intake on urea and creatinine levels.
