Abstract

Latar Belakang: Persepsi merupakan tingkat awal struktur kognitif seseorang selama proses pembelajaran. Persepsi optimis terhadap kinerja dosen memiliki peranan penting dalam pengembangan motivasi belajar mahasiswa.
Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui hubungan persepsi mahasiswa tentang kinerja dosen dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada Prodi Sarjana Terapan Keperawatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangkaraya.
Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Sarjana Terapan Keperawatan Reguler V dan VI Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangkaraya, dengan sampel berjumlah 69 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik total sampling. Dalam penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner.
Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa tentang kinerja dosen berpengaruh baik pada mahasiswa Jurusan Sarjana Terapan Keperawatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangkaraya, dengan jumlah responden yang mengatakan setuju mencapai 95,7%. Motivasi belajar berpengaruh baik pada mahasiswa Jurusan Sarjana Terapan Keperawatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangkaraya, dengan jumlah responden yang mengatakan setuju mencapai 94,2%. Hasil uji p value menunjukkan nilai probabilitas sebesar 0.001 lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi 5% (0,05), yang berarti persepsi mahasiswa mengenai kompetensi dosen memiliki hubungan kepada motivasi belajar mahasiswa.
Kesimpulan: Persepsi mahasiswa mengenai kompetensi dosen berpengaruh baik terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa Sarjana Terapan Keperawataan Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangkaraya.

Background: Perception is the initial level of a person's cognitive structure during the learning process. Optimistic perceptions of lecturer performance have an important role in developing student learning motivation.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between student perceptions of lecturer performance and student learning motivation in the Bachelor of Applied Nursing Study Program, Polytechnic Of Health Ministry Of Health Palangkaraya.
Methods: This research is an analytic observational study with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were students of Regular V and VI Bachelor of Applied Nursing at the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangkaraya, with a sample of 69 respondents who were taken using a total sampling technique. In this study, data was collected using a questionnaire.
Results: The results showed that students' perceptions of lecturer performance had a good effect on students of the Bachelor of Applied Nursing Department of the Health Ministry's Polytechnic of Palangkaraya, with the number of respondents who said they agreed reaching 95.7%. Learning motivation has a good effect on students of the Bachelor of Applied Nursing Department of the Health Ministry's Polytechnic of Palangkaraya, with the number of respondents who said they agreed reaching 94.2%. The results of the p-value test show a probability value of 0.001 which is less than the 5% significance level (0.05), which means that student perceptions of lecturer competency have a relationship to student learning motivation.
Conclusion: Student perceptions of lecturer competence have a good effect on the learning motivation of Bachelor of Applied Nursing students at the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health of Palangkaraya.
