Abstract

Latar belakang: diare merupakan kondisi buang air besar dengan frekuensi yang tidak normal yaitu lebih sering dari biasanya dengan kotoran bersifat lembek atau cair. Indonesia merupakan salah satu negera berkembang yang masih dihadapi permasalahan diare. Balita merupakan sosok yang rentan tertular penyakit salah satunya diare. Hal ini karena balita masih memiliki daya tahan tubuh yang belum cukup kuat dibandingan orang dewasa. Pencegahan diare balita tidak lepas dari peran orang tua khususnya ibu. Ibu memiliki banyak interaksi dengan balita selaku pengasuh yang membantu memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Karena dampak diare bisa sangat bervariasi, mulai dari kondisi ringan hingga kondisi yang lebih parah. Metode : Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional study. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan teknik pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan rumus Lemeshow sebanyak 67 responden ibu balita yang anaknya dirawat di RSIA Bunda Palangka Raya. Hasil dan Analisis: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 67 responden didapatkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat ibu pada balita (1-3 Tahun) terbanyak berjumlah 54 responden (80.8%) memiliki perilaku baik, riwayat alergi balita terbanyak berjumlah 49 responden (73,1%) tidak memiliki riwayat alergi dan data diare balita (1-3 tahun) terbanyak berjumlah 40 responden (59,7%) memiliki riwayat diare dalam 1 bulan terakhir. Hasil analisis statistic menggunakan uji chi square menggunakan uji alternative Fisher's Exact Test tabel 2x2 menunjukkan hubungan antara perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat ibu pada balita (1-3 tahun) dengan kejadian diare (P value= 0,027 dan nilai OR=4,5) dan ada hubungan riwayat alergi pada balita (1-3 tahun) dengan kejadian diare (P value= 0,002 dan nilai OR=6,5) Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat di pahami bahwa perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat ibu sangat berpengaruh terhadap angka kejadian diare pada balita karena ibu adalah orang terdekat bagi balita. Selain itu juga riwayat alergi pada balita adalah satu hal yang dapat diduga menjadi penyebab terjadinya diare pada balita. Background: diarrhea is a condition of defecation with abnormal frequency, namely more often than usual with soft or liquid feces. Indonesia is one of the developing countries that still faces diarrhea problems. Toddlers are vulnerable to contracting diseases, one of which is diarrhea. This is because toddlers still have immune systems that are not strong enough compared to adults. Prevention of toddler diarrhea cannot be separated from the role of parents, especially mothers. Mothers have a lot of interaction with toddlers as caregivers who help meet their daily needs. Because the impact of diarrhea can vary greatly, from mild conditions to more severe conditions. Methods: : The research method used in this research uses a cross sectional study research design. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with this sampling technique using the Lemeshow formula of 67 respondents from mothers of toddlers who were treated at RSIA Bunda Palangka Raya. Results And Analysis: The results of the study showed that of the 67 respondents, it was found that the clean and healthy living behavior of mothers in toddlers (1-3 years) was the highest, with 54 respondents (80.8%) having good behavior, the highest number of toddlers had a history of allergies, 49 respondents (73.1%) had no history. Allergy and diarrhea data for toddlers (1-3 years) was the largest with 40 respondents (59.7%) having a history of diarrhea in the last 1 month. The results of statistical analysis using the chi square test using the alternative Fisher's Exact Test 2x2 table show a relationship between clean and healthy living behavior of mothers in toddlers (1-3 years) and the incidence of diarrhea (P value = 0.027 and OR value = 4.5) and there is relationship between history of allergies in toddlers (1-3 years) and the incidence of diarrhea (P value = 0.002 and OR value = 6.5) Conclusion: Based on this research, it can be understood that the mother's clean and healthy living behavior greatly influences the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers because the mother is the closest person to the toddler. Apart from that, a history of allergies in toddlers is one thing that is thought to be the cause of diarrhea in toddlers
