Abstract

Latar Belakang : Survei Kesehatan Indonesia (SKI) tahun 2023, prevalensi stroke di Indonesia mencapai 8,3 per 1.000 penduduk. Berdasarkan data rekam medis rumah sakit RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya, terdapat peningkatan jumlah kasus stroke berulang dalam tiga tahun terakhir yaitu 27,3% pada tahun 2020, 32,5% pada tahun 2021, dan 37,1% pada tahun 2022. Melalui pemahaman yang mendalam tentang hubungan tersebut, diharapkan dapat disusun strategi intervensi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap keluarga, sehingga pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien stroke dan mengurangi beban ekonomi akibat stroke berulang. Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap keluarga dengan upaya pencegahan stroke berulang di ruang rawat inap Nusa Indah RSUD Dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya. Metode Penelitian:Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, dengan 72 sampel, menggunakan uji analisis Chi-Square. Hasil Penelitian :Responden dengan pengetahuan kurang beresiko 9,2 kali lebih besar terjadinya stroke berulang pada keluarga yang mengalami stroke dibandingkan dengan keluarga yang memiliki pengetahuan baik dan cukup (PValue 0,000).Responden dengan sikap negatif beresiko 5,6 kali lebih besar terjadinya stroke berulang pada keluarga yang mengalami stroke dibandingkan dengan keluarga yang memiliki sikap positif (P-Value 0,001). Kesimpulan :ada hubungan pengetahuan keluarga dan Sikap keluarga dengan Upaya pencegaha stroke berulang di ruang rawat inap Nusa Indah RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya Palangka Raya. Background: The 2023 Indonesian Health Survey (SKI) reported that the prevalence of stroke in Indonesia reached 8.3 per 1,000 population. Based on medical records from Dr. Doris Sylvanus Regional General Hospital, Palangka Raya, there has been an increase in the number of recurrent stroke cases in the last three years, namely 27.3% in 2020, 32.5% in 2021, and 37.1% in 2022. Through a deeper understanding of this relationship, it is hoped that appropriate intervention strategies can be developed to improve family knowledge and attitudes, ultimately improving the quality of life of stroke patients and reducing the economic burden caused by recurrent stroke. Research Objective: To analyze the relationship between family knowledge and attitudes and efforts to prevent recurrent stroke in the Nusa Indah inpatient ward of Dr. Doris Sylvanus Regional General Hospital, Palangka Raya. Research Method: This study used an observational analytical design with a crosssectional approach, with 72 samples, using the Chi-Square analysis test. Research Results: Respondents with insufficient knowledge had a 9.2 times greater risk of recurrent stroke in families experiencing stroke compared to families with good or sufficient knowledge (P-Value 0.000). Respondents with negative attitudes had a 5.6 times greater risk of recurrent stroke in families experiencing stroke compared to families with positive attitudes (P-Value 0.001). Conclusion: There is a relationship between family knowledge and attitudes and efforts to prevent recurrent stroke in the Nusa Indah inpatient ward, Dr. Doris Sylvanus Regional General Hospital, Palangka Raya.
