Abstract

Latar Belakang: Profil kesehatan Kabupaten Kapuas tahun 2023 menyatakan bahwa terdapat 40.920 perempuan usia 30-50 tahun, pemeriksaan IVA sebanyak 8.233 (20,12%). Masih rendahnya kunjungan pemeriksaan IVA di Puskesmas Panamas kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya pengetahuan ibu terhadap pentingnya pemeriksaan IVA test dan atau kurangnya sikap dan keinginan ibu untuk melakukan pemeriksaan karena menganggap pemeriksaan IVA belum dibutuhkan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendidikan kesehatan dengan media video terhadap pengetahuan WUS tentang pemeriksaan IVA di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Panamas Tahun 2025. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Quasi Eskperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan Non Equivalent Control Group. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 32 sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan mulai Agustus hingga September 2025 di Wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Panamas Kabupaten Kapuas Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Hasil di analisis secara univariat dengan distribusi frekuensi dan bivariat dengan uji Wilcoxon signed test dan Mann-Whitney. Penelitian ini sudah melalui uji layak etik. Hasil: Hasil uji Wilcoxon media video diperoleh p-value=0,000. Hasil uji Wilcoxon media leaflet diperoleh p-value=0,000. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney media video dan leaflet diperoleh p-value=0,848. Diskusi: Analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan mean antara media video dan media leaflet di Wilayah Kerja wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Panamas. Tidak adanya perbedaan bermakna antara leaflet dan video sebagai media untuk menyampaikan pendidikan kesehatan. Hal ini disebabkan karena ke dua media disajikan dengan menarik dan mudah dimengerti oleh responden. Selain itu, informasi tentang deteksi kanker serviks melalui kedua media ini disertai dengan penjelasan peneliti, sehingga berbagai pertanyaan responden bisa dijawab secara langsung. Background: The 2023 Kapuas Regency health profile stated that there were 40,920 women aged 30-50 years, with 8,233 (20.12%) undergoing VIA examinations. The low number of VIA examination visits at the Panamas Community Health Center is likely influenced by mothers' lack of knowledge about the importance of the VIA test and/or their lack of attitude and desire to undergo the examination because they consider the VIA test is not yet necessary. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of health education using video media on WUS's knowledge about VIA examinations in the Panamas Community Health Center work area in 2025. Method: This study used a Quasi-Experimental design with a Non-Equivalent Control Group design. Sampling was conducted using a purposive sampling technique, resulting in a total of 32 samples. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The study was conducted for 1 month from August to September 2025 in the working area of the Panamas Community Health Center (UPT Puskesmas), Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The results were analyzed univariately with frequency distribution and bivariately with the Wilcoxon signed test and Mann-Whitney test. This study has passed an ethical feasibility test. Results: The Wilcoxon test results for video media obtained a p-value of 0.000. The Wilcoxon test results for leaflet media obtained a p-value of 0.000. The Mann-Whitney test results for video and leaflet media obtained a p-value of 0.848. Discussion: Bivariate analysis showed no significant difference between video and leaflet media in the Panamas Community Health Center (UPT) work area. There was no significant difference between leaflets and videos as media for delivering health education. This was because both media were presented in an engaging and easily understood manner by respondents. Furthermore, information about cervical cancer detection through both media was accompanied by explanations from the researchers, allowing respondents to answer various questions directly.
