Abstract

Latar belakang : Kontrasepsi adalah pengaturan kehamilan dengan metode atau alat untuk mencegah kehamilan. Kontrasepsi IUD memiliki tingkat efektivitas yang tinggi dan angka kegagalannya rendah sehingga mampu menekan AKI dan laju pertumbuhan. Jumlah akseptor KB IUD di PMB W lebih rendah dibandingkan metode kontrasepsi lainnya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kontrasepsi IUD memiliki keunggulan dari efektivitas dan durasi penggunaan, minat ibu terhadap penggunaan kontrasepsi ini masih rendah. Tujuan: Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan minat ibu akseptor KB dalam memilih kontrasepsi IUD di PMB W Kota Palangka Raya. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 232 responden yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi analisis univariat dan analisis bivariate dengan uji chi-square. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa hasil uji chi-square usia (p-value: 0,231>0,05), pengetahuan (p-value: 0,000<0,05), pendidikan (p-value:0,000<0,05), paritas (p-value 0,465>0,05), dan dukungan suami (p-value 0,000<0,05). Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan, pendidikan dan dukungan suami dengan minat ibu terhadap kontrasepsi IUD dan tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara usia dan paritas dengan minat ibu terhadap kontrasepsi IUD. Bidan dapat memberikan edukasi yang inovatif.
