Abstract

Latar belakang : Siklus menstruasi adalah tanda proses kematangan organ reproduksi yang dipengaruhi oleh hormon tubuh. Peranan siklus menstruasi berhubungan dengan tingkat kesuburan perempuan. Siklus ini secara teratur berlangsung jika seorang seorang remaja telah menginjak usia 17 – 18 tahun namun dapat juga terjadi setelah 3–5 tahun dari usia menarche. Pola menstruasi normal berlangsung setiap 21–35 hari sekali, adapun lama hari menstruasi dapat berlangsung selama 3–7 hari. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan 7 siswi mengatakan mengalami siklus menstruasi tidak teratur. Tujuan : Mengetahui gambaran siklus menstruasi pada remaja putri kelas XI di SMKN 2 Palangka Raya. Metode : Analisis univariate atau sering disebut juga analisis deskriptif bertujuan untuk menjelaskan atau mendeskripsikan karakteristik setiap variabel penelitian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswi kelas XI yang berjumlah 67 siswi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan metode total sampling. Hasil : The results of the study showed experienced a menstrual cycle of <21 days that 29 respondents (43.3%), experienced a menstrual cycle of 21-35 days 20 respondents (29.9%), and experienced a menstrual cycle of >35 days 18 respondents (26.9%). Kesimpulan : Siklus menstruasi remaja putri kelas XI di SMKN 2 Palangka Raya yaitu pada siklus menstruasi <21 hari sebanyak 29 responden (43,3%).

Background : The menstrual cycle is a sign of the reproductive organ maturity process that is influenced by body hormones. The role of the menstrual cycle is related to the level of female fertility. This cycle occurs regularly if a teenager has reached the age of 17-18 years but can also occur after 3-5 years from the age of menarche. The normal menstrual pattern occurs every 21-35 days, while the length of the menstrual day can last for 3-7 days. Based on the results of a preliminary study, 7 female students said they had irregular menstrual cycle. Purpose : To determine the description of the menstrual cycle in female adolescents in grade XI at SMKN 2 Palangka Raya.. Method : Univariate analysis or often called descriptive analysis aims to explain or describe the characteristics of each research variable. The population in this study were 67 female students in grade XI with a sampling technique using the total sampling method. Results : The results of the study showed that 29 respondents (43.3%) experienced a menstrual cycle of <21 days, 20 respondents (29.9%) experienced a menstrual cycle of 21-35 days, and 18 respondents (26.9%) experienced a menstrual cycle of >35 days. Conclusions : : The menstrual cycle of female adolescents in grade XI at SMKN 2 Palangka Raya was <21 days for 29 respondents (43.3%).
