Abstract
Latar Belakang: Hiperkolesterol adalah gangguan metabolisme kolesterol yang
disebabkan oleh kadar kolesterol dalam darah melebihi batas normal. Kadar
kolesterol total dalam darah tidak boleh lebih dari 240 mg/dl. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan energi, lemak jenuh, serat serta
pengetahuan diet terhadap kadar kolesterol penderita hiperkolesterol di UPT
Puskesmas Barimba Kabupaten Kapuas.
Metode: Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian Cross
Sectional sampel diambil secara purposive sampling pada penderita
hiperkolesterol di UPT Puskesmas Barimba. Pengambilan data asupan
menggunakan food recall 24 jam, pengetahuan diet menggunakan kuesioner serta
alat ukur nesco gcu. Data dianalisis dengan uji kolerasi pearson.
Hasil: Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh adalah 11 orang penderita hiperkolesterol di
UPT Puskesmas Barimba dengan karateristik sampel jenis kelamin, umur, IMT,
pekerjaan. Jumlah sampel terbanyak berjenis kelamin perempuan dengan rentang
umur 40 sampai 65 tahun, sebagian besar sampel tidak bekerja atau ibu rumah
tangga, dengan status gizi normal (81,8%) dan status gizi lebih (18,2%). Terdapat
hubungan antara asupan energi dengan kadar kolesterol dengan p-value = 0,043,
tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan lemak jenuh dengan kadar kolesterol
dengan p-value = 0,166, tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan serat dengan
kadar kolesterol dengan p-value = 0,536, tidak terdapat hubungan pengetahuan
diet terhadap kadar kolesterol penderita hiperkolesterol dengan p-value = 0,088
bagi penderita hiperkolesterol UPT Puskesmas Barimba Kabupaten Kapuas.
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara asupan energi dengan kadar kolesterol,
tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan lemak jenuh dengan kadar kolesterol, tidak
terdapat hubungan antara asupan serat dengan kadar kolesterol, dan tidak terdapat
hubungan pengetahuan diet terhadap kadar kolesterol.
Background: Hypercholesterolemia is a disorder of cholesterol metabolism
caused by cholesterol levels in the blood exceeding normal limits. The total
cholesterol level in the blood should not be more than 240 mg/dl. This study aims
to determine the relationship between energy intake, saturated fat, fiber and
dietary knowledge on cholesterol levels of hypercholesterolemia sufferers at UPT
Puskesmas Barimba, Kapuas Regency.
Methods: This research is a quantitative type with a cross sectional research
design. The sample was taken by purposive sampling in hypercholesterolemia
sufferers at UPT Puskesmas Barimba. Intake data was collected using a 24-hour
food recall and dietary knowledge using a questionnaire and the Nesco GCU
measuring instrument. Data were analyzed using the pearson correlation test.
Results: The number of samples obtained was 11 people with
hypercholesterolemia at UPT Puskesmas Barimba with sample characteristics of
gender, age, BMI, occupation. The largest number of samples were women with
an age range of 40 to 65 years, most of the samples did not work or were
housewives, with normal nutritional status (81.8%) and more nutritional status
(18.2%). There is a relationship between energy intake and cholesterol levels with
a p-value = 0.043, there is no relationship between saturated fat intake and
cholesterol levels with a p-value = 0.166, there is no relationship between fiber
intake and cholesterol levels with a p-value = 0.536, there is no The relationship
between dietary knowledge and cholesterol levels in hypercholesterol patients
with p-value = 0.088 for hypercholesterolemia sufferers UPT Barimba Health
Center, Kapuas Regency.
Conclusion: There is a relationship between energy intake and cholesterol levels,
there is no relationship between saturated fat intake and cholesterol levels, there is
no relationship between fiber intake and cholesterol levels, and there is no
relationship between dietary knowledge and cholesterol levels.
