Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masa kehidupan dimulai dari bayi hingga lanjut usia, yang akan mengalami perkembangan fisik, kognitif, psikologis, dan kebutuhan gizi sesuai usia. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap tentang gizi seimbang perlu diberikan penyuluhan. Penggunaan media poster dapat meningkatkan efektifitas penyuluhan. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh media poster tentang gizi seimbang terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap pada remaja di Panti Asuhan Ayah Bunda Palangka Raya. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan Quasi Experiment dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah remaja di Panti Asuhan Ayah Bunda Palangka Raya dengan sampel sebanyak 30 responden menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat (uji Wilcoxon dan uji McNemar). Hasil: Karakteristik usia responden berada direntang usia 12-20 tahun. Jenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan masing-masing 50%. Tingkat pendidikan paling banyak SMA yaitu 40%, SMP 26,7%, dan SD 33,3%. Pengetahuan dan sikap tentang gizi seimbang mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan penyuluhan menggunakan media poster. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh penyuluhan menggunakan media poster terhadap pengetahuan (ρ=0,000) dan sikap (ρ=0,000). Kesimpulan: Pemberian penyuluhan dengan media poster dapat mempengaruhi pengetahuan dan sikap remaja di Panti Asuhan Ayah Bunda Palangka Raya.

Background: The life span starts from infancy to old age, which will experience physical, cognitive, psychological development, and nutritional needs according to age. One way to increase knowledge and attitudes about balanced nutrition is to provide counseling. The use of poster media can increase the effectiveness of counseling. Purposes: To determine the effect of media posters on balanced nutrition on knowledge and attitudes of adolescents at the Ayah Bunda Palangka Raya Orphanage. Method: The research design used a Quasi Experiment with One Group Pretest- Posttest Design. The population of this study were adolescents at the Ayah Bunda Palangka Raya Orphanage with a sample of 30 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate (Wilcoxon test and McNemar test). Results: Respondents age characteristics were in the age range of 12-20 years. Gender male and female each 50%. The highest level of education is Senior High School, namely 40%, middle school 26.7%, and elementary school 33.3%. Knowledge and attitudes about balanced nutrition have increased after being given counseling using poster media. The results showed that there was an effect of counseling using poster media on knowledge (p=0.000) and attitudes (p=0.000). Conclusions: Provision of counseling using poster media can influence the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents at the Ayah Bunda Palangka Raya Orphanage.
