Abstract
Tingginya kasus balita gizi kurang yang di pengaruhi oleh kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu dalam pemberian makan anak kurang. Mengetahui pengaruh demonstrasi pemberian makan terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu balita gizi kurang di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Terawan. Desain penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest Design, pengumpulan data dilakukan observasi melalui pretest terlebih dahulu kemudian diberikan perlakuan atau intervensi. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki balita gizi kurang sebanyak 30 orang. Analisis dengan uji Paired-Sample T Test. Pengetahuan ibu balita gizi kurang sebelum diberikan demonstrasi sebanyak 29 responden (96,7%) dengan kategori kurang, sesudah di berikan demonstrasi sebanyak 24 responden (80%) dengan kategori baik dengan p-value 0,000. Keterampilan ibu balita gizi kurang sebelum diberikan demonstrasi sebanyak 19 responden (63,3%) dengan kategori kurang, sesudah diberikan demonstrasi sebanyak 22 responden (73,3%) dengan kategori baik dengan p-value 0,000. Ada pengaruh yang signifikan metode demonstrasi terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pemberian makan terhadap anak gizi kurang.

The high number of cases of malnutrition under five is influenced by the lack of knowledge and skills of mothers in feeding poor children. Knowing the effect of feeding demonstrations on the knowledge and skills of malnourished toddler mothers in the working area of the UPTD Terawan Health Center. The research design of One Group Pretest Posttest Design, data collection is carried out by observing through the pretest first then given treatment or intervention. The population and sample in this study were 30 mothers who had malnourished children. Analysis with the Paired-Sample T Test. Knowledge of mothers with malnutrition before being given a demonstration was 29 respondents (96.7%) in the less category, after being given a demonstration there were 24 respondents (80%) in the good category with a p-value of 0.000. The skills of mothers under five with malnutrition before being given a demonstration were 19 respondents (63.3%) in the less category, after being given a demonstration were 22 respondents (73.3%) in the good category with a p-value of 0.000. There is a significant effect of the demonstration method on knowledge and skills in feeding malnourished children.
