Abstract
Sarapan merupakan salah satu perilaku penting yang dapat mewujudkan gizi seimbang sebelum melakukan aktivitas dipagi hari.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media video terhadap pengetahuan dan perilaku sarapan siswa SMP Negeri 12 Palangka Raya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperiment dengan rancangan one group pre test post test. Tehnik pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling dengan total responden 29 orang. Analisis penelitian ini terdiri dari analisis univariat, bivariat dengan uji satistik Mc Nemar. Hasil distribusi frekuensi dari 29 responden pada pengetahuan sarapan sebagian responden memiliki pengetahuan tidak baik sebanyak 29 responden (100%). Hasil analisis bivariat yaitu terdapat pengaruh media video terhadap pengetahuan sarapan (p=0,000).
Perilaku sarapan sebagian responden melakukan sarapan sebanyak 4 responden (13,8%) dengan hasil analisis bivariat (p=0,039) dan kesesuaian kebutuhan sarapan 8 responden (27,6%) dengan hasil analisis bivariat (p=0,031) yang artinya terdapat pengaruh media video terhadap perilaku sarapan siswa SMP Negeri 12 Palangka Raya. Diharapkan agar masyarakat terutama remaja atau anak sekolah untuk dapat meningkatkan kepedulian akan pentingnya sarapan bagi kehidupan sehari-hari.
Breakfast is one of the important behaviors that can achieve balanced nutrition before doing activities in the morning.
This study aims to determine the effect of video media on knowledge and breakfast behavior of students at SMP Negeri 12 Palangka Raya.
This study used a quasi-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test. The sampling technique was simple random sampling with a total of 29 respondents. The analysis of this study consisted of univariate, bivariate analysis with Mc Nemar statistical test. The results of the frequency distribution of 29 respondents on breakfast knowledge, some respondents had poor knowledge of 29 respondents (100%). The result of bivariate analysis is that there is an effect of video media on breakfast knowledge (p = 0.000).
Breakfast behavior of some respondents having breakfast as many as 4 respondents (13.8%) with the results of bivariate analysis (p = 0.039) and the suitability of breakfast needs 8 respondents (27.6%) with the results of bivariate analysis (p = 0.031) which means that there is a media influence video on breakfast behavior of SMP Negeri 12 Palangka Raya students. It is hoped that the community, especially teenagers or school children, can increase awareness of the importance of breakfast for daily life.
